OneStream Systems Developer
London – 3 days a week
Salary up to £90,000 per annum + bonus
A leading, privately-owned, business are seeking a OneStream Systems Developer to join their in-house team, based in their modern offices in the centre of London on a hybrid basis.
The vision
As the OneStream Developer you will be an integral member of the Global Finance team and make an impact on how this global business is going to transform their reporting and planning capabilities, empowering CFO’s and Finance Leaders with business insight by providing a unified intelligent platform, accelerating corporate finance processes such as Financial Close, Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting and Analytics.
Candidate profile
This role would suit an individual working as a consultant within a vendor partner with build experience, looking for a career change or someone who has been involved in one implementation of OneStream within an end-user looking for a new project to get their teeth into with experience of developing the application with some experience or reading and writing business rules.
My client would also consider a systems administrator/accountant of OneStream currently with a good understanding of fundamental business rules looking to learn and grow into a OneStream Developer as my client is prepared to train this individual providing they can demonstrate the right aptitude!
The role
The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing build project and new development across the group within a large user base globally across consolidation and Budgeting, planning & Forecasting. Provide first class support for the users, build reporting suits & Dashboards in line with the business needs and getting involved in monthly/quaterly and yearly activities, collaborate with key stakeholders globally.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
– Build experience of OneStream, ideally writing business rules using Vb.net or C#
– Troubleshooting, maintaining and regular change controls of OneStream
– End user support, resolving issues
– Creating & maintaining cube views, dashboards, and reports
– Metadata management; Maintaining and updating hierarchy changes, workflows config, transformation rules
– Security, managing access to users,
– User Training
– Knowledge and understanding of system and process design
– Solid understanding of Financial Statements, statutory, regulatory and management reporting requirements
– Knowledge of Month/Quarter/Year end closing activities
– Accounting background, ideally qualified or part qualified is certainly a plus
– Strong and effective communication skills
– Must be have a valid right to work in the UK (unable to offer sponsorship)
