Planning Analytics Consultant (6-Month Contract)

Inside IR35 £400-£500

Head office in London, but can be remote within the UK

We are seeking a Planning Analytics Consultant for a 6-month contract to support our clients finance planning tool (IBM Planning Analytics).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to users during the forecasting cycle, including application management, user onboarding, report assistance, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and technical teams to drive improvements in the IBM Planning Analytics system.
  • Partner with the development team to ensure timely updates to planning data and maintain system security protocols.
  • Oversee system upgrades and enhancements, including testing and implementing changes based on feedback.
  • Identify and adopt best practices to boost operational efficiency and improve data reliability.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of finance principles, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • IBM Planning Analytics development experience (V2.0 or higher), including:
    • Server installation and system configuration
    • Cube and application design
    • TI processes and feeders
    • Security and MDX knowledge
    • Familiarity with REST API
    • Project management experience in financial initiatives

Contract Duration: 6+ months
