The Business Supply Chain Lead – SAP will collaborate with internal Supply Chain teams to implement and enhance solutions within SAP. This role serves as the primary SAP expert for SAP Production (PP) and Materials Management (MM) solutions. Responsibilities will focus on supporting the deployment of production planning systems in one state, with plans for broader rollout across multiple markets. Additionally, the role will provide ongoing support for the Materials Management functionality across the company’s states of operation, driving continuous improvements in both SAP S4 HANA and Ariba systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing SAP MM (Materials Management) elements related to procurement, inventory management, vendor onboarding, sourcing, and contract management through to purchase order management, goods receiving, and inventory management.
- Overseeing SAP PP (Production Planning) elements including the organization structure setup for plants and locations, material data management, Bills of Materials, Work Centers, Routings, and Products. The role also involves planning & execution areas such as demand management, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Acting as the business liaison between users and IT, focusing on scope management, project planning, data mapping, user support, and ongoing system enhancements.
- Ensuring smooth delivery and adoption of solutions with a focus on user support, change management, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment of SAP Ariba/S4HANA solutions within designated markets, particularly focusing on MM and PP.
- Deliver implementation deliverables for portfolio projects and enhancements on time.
- Manage scope, fit/gap analysis, testing, data migration, and change management for SAP S4 HANA implementations.
- Develop training materials, including user guides, training content, and system demos.
- Provide systems demonstrations and conceptual presentations to facilitate user engagement and upskilling.
- Respond to user issues promptly, collaborating with the SAP support team as necessary.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scripts, and ensure thorough testing processes.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supply chain systems.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress and system implementations.
- Ensure all deadlines are met to avoid delays in project timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with emphasis in Supply Chain Production & Materials Management.
- 5+ years of experience with SAP Materials Management & Production Planning.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA.
- Extensive experience as an end user, key user, super user, or business lead for SAP MM and PP modules.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, including working with large datasets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- U.S. work authorization required (U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with SAP Implementation projects.
