SAP Business ByDesign Systems Analyst
London-based (2 days a week on-site)
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum
SystemsAccountants are working with a growing central London company who are looking to bring on a Systems Analyst focused on their SAP Business ByDesign system. This role will sit in the Finance team and will be focused on the maintenance and support of the SAP Business ByDesign system. The successful candidate will have good experience in SAP ByD, have a strong understanding of finance, and will be able to commute to the client’s offices in central London twice per week.
Role Responsibilities
- Managing the SAP ByDesign system and ensuring that finance systems are maintained and updated in order to meet business needs
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the ERP Systems – with responsibilities for systems access, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and the implementation of new functionality as required
- Delivering up to 3rd line support in SAP ByDesign
- Carry out day to day administration tasks within SAP ByD
- Lead project work involving systems and process improvements and implementations
- Managing backend processes
- Supporting the users of the finance systems and providing specialist knowledge and training
- Liaise with other departments and end-user team members to provide day-to-day support
Role Requirements
- Experience with SAP Business ByDesign (ideally 2+ years)
- Experience with solving 1st and 2nd line ticket issues SAP ByD.
- Have a strong understanding of finance
- Experience of managing the relationship with a 3rd party SAP support partner.
- Able to work on integrations with other systems
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Concur would be beneficial
- Backend developer skills ie SQL or SAP HANA would be beneficial
- Accounting background or qualification such as AAT, degree or professional qualification would be beneficial, but not required
- Knowledge of other systems ie EPM, CRM etc.
