Job Description: SAP FICO Functional Consultant (Permanent)
Location: Netherlands
We are currently working with a growing consultancy based in the Netherlands that are looking for a SAP FICO Consultant to join their team and help grow their practise.
Candidates must be Dutch speaking and have right to work in the Netherlands.
As a SAP FICO Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting our SAP Financial and Controlling modules. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and ensure the system aligns with our financial processes and Dutch/EU regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP FICO modules according to business requirements
- Provide functional expertise in FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking) and CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center)
- Analyse business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications
- Design, test, and implement system enhancements and customizations
- Prepare documentation for system configurations and processes
- Support system users through training and troubleshooting
- Manage system upgrades and migrations
- Ensure compliance with Dutch financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with technical teams for integration between SAP and other systems
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO functional consulting experience
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SAP integration to other modules (MM, SD, PP)
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for Finance
- Understanding of SAP best practices and implementation methodologies
