SAP ERP Project Manager (Permanent)
Location: The Netherlands
Hybrid (some travel to sites)
We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Project Manager to join our clients team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will project manager complex SAP implementation and transformation initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes that align with business objectives.
Candidates must have right to work in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP ERP implementation and upgrade projects, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies
- Coordinate and manage project team members from various departments and technical backgrounds
- Establish clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Manage project scope, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide timely, accurate reporting on project progress
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations
- Guide change management activities to ensure smooth transition and adoption
Key Skills
- 5+ years of experience managing SAP ERP implementation or upgrade projects
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (such as FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or SAP certification preferred
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Experience working in Dutch business environments with knowledge of local regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with change management and organizational transformation
