The SAP FP&A (SAC) Subject Matter Expert will collaborate closely with the Finance team to establish and optimize solutions and processes primarily within SAP. This pivotal role involves providing expert guidance on transactional process flows and system procedures within SAP, with a focus on planning (including sales, COGS, Capital Project, Opex, and Workforce). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of key financial statements and robust experience in profitability and margin analysis, spanning both S/4 HANA and ideally SAC platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and development of SAC / S4HANA solutions and processes across all markets as they are deployed.
• Plan and execute all implementation deliverables within specified timelines for portfolio projects and enhancements.
• Support design, build, testing, data migration, and change management efforts for SAP S/4 HANA.
• Develop high-quality, concise project documentation, user training materials, and user support resources in various formats.
• Manage system operational responsibilities such as data integrity checks, system setups, and related tasks.
• Conduct systems and process demonstrations, exercises, training sessions, and conceptual presentations to educate and empower the user community.
• Resolve user issues promptly, either directly or by collaborating with support teams (e.g., IT).
• Collaborate closely with finance operations and supply chain teams to evaluate system application security, enhancement requirements, and process improvements.
• Identify and create use cases, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and comprehensive test scripts for UAT and integration testing purposes.
• Ensure accurate process flows and address operational requirements throughout implementation phases, interim states, and Go Live/Run phases.
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance operations system processes.
• Provide regular progress updates to SAP and business leadership.
• Adhere to internal and cross-functional deadlines to ensure timely completion of close responsibilities and prevent implementation delays.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field with an emphasis in FP&A, data analytics, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with S/4 HANA and SAC.
• Extensive practical knowledge of SAP data structure and reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, including handling large datasets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a publicly traded manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or cannabis company.
• Background in public accounting.
• Experience participating in an SAP implementation.
