Introduction to the Position
Our client, an innovative company based in Ludwigshafen, is looking for a German-speaking Team Lead Accounting to oversee their accounting team and lead the implementation of a new ERP system. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the company’s accounting processes and drive the successful integration of a new ERP system, ensuring alignment with business operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of accountants while guiding them through the system transition, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance throughout the process. Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and team performance
• Oversee the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with accounting processes
• Act as the key point of contact for the accounting team during the ERP transition, providing guidance and support
• Ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported in the new system
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and system configuration
• Develop and maintain team training and support during the ERP implementation process
• Foster a positive, collaborative environment within the accounting team to drive productivity and performance
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timelines and goals are met

Desired Qualifications

• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)
• Proven experience in leading accounting teams and managing day-to-day operations
• Strong experience with ERP implementations, ideally with NetSuite or similar systems
• Ability to manage and motivate a team, providing guidance and support during the transition period
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams
• A background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in system integration projects or process optimization is a plus
