Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics Developer Opportunity
Salary – £70,000 – £80,000
Hybrid/Remote. UK Based
Are you driven by data and continuous improvement? We’re seeking a skilled Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics Developer to join our clients Finance Solutions Team. You’ll collaborate with TM1/PA specialists to deliver and maintain IBM Cognos TM1/PA solutions, serving as a Lead Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IBM Cognos TM1/PA solutions
- Provide accurate and timely management information
- Manage user permissions and system security
- Work with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers on issue resolution and best practices
- Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Identify requirements and recommend solutions for Budgeting, Forecasting, and Management Reporting
- Integrate TM1/PA with SAP and other data sources
Required Skills:
- Experience with Cognos TM1/PA solutions
- Understanding of TM1/PA Architecture
- Proficiency in TM1 Perspectives/Architect/Workspace, including cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules, active forms, and workflows
- Knowledge of financial planning functions
- Effective communication with business and technical teams
Desirable Skills:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or financial planning background
- Experience with OLAP data cubes, turbo integrator process rules in IBM Cognos TM1
- Familiarity with PAX and PAW
- Experience with BI and Visualization tools
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse, BI, OLAP, and dimensional modelling
- SQL authoring and RDBMS databases experience
