SystemsAccountants is exclusively recruiting for one of our key clients which will need to remain confidential. They are a technology-driven business that continually refines and advances its systems landscape. As part of its ongoing transformation, the company is seeking a Treasury Technology Manager for a pivotal global position.

This position involves collaboration with stakeholders across all entities of the organisation and direct engagement with Business Application Owners, Process Owners, and Data Owners. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of operational excellence, ensuring treasury systems adhere to the highest standards. They should also possess extensive experience in developing technology roadmaps, managing projects, and driving transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for optimisation, leading treasury function enhancements, and delivering transformational outcomes. The candidate will play a hands-on role in automating processes and ensuring treasury systems operate at peak performance.

The organisation is currently undertaking a significant ERP consolidation project and utilises a market leading treasury management system. The successful candidate will help ensure the system reaches its full potential, achieving a state of business-as-usual with robust optimisation, a fully established support function, and an efficient ticketing system.

Requirements:

  • Provide technical support to end users, leveraging tools such as ServiceNOW, Jira, LeanIX, and knowledge databases to deliver high-quality operational assistance.
  • Collaborate in gathering requirements and designing functional workflows, transforming them into technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and seamless system integrations.
  • Supervise third-party vendors to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery of system enhancements, supported by robust quality assurance processes
  • Support project management activities, including budget tracking, preparing reports for steering committees, and addressing both IT-specific and broader project risks. Utilize the right tools to align best practices with unique project requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, recommending suitable tools and teams to implement improvements
  • Stay informed on emerging trends and innovations in Treasury technologies, including the Treasury Management System and related advancements
  • Collaborate with other senior leadership across the Treasury function to define priorities and shape the strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment across regions.

Experience:

  • ITIL certification is essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in Treasury Management Systems, particularly Reval; relevant certifications for TMS or ERP software are advantageous.
  • At least six years of experience in system implementation, administration, or accounting.
  • Strong background in IT Service Management, with both hands-on experience and the ability to design effective operational frameworks.
  • Comprehensive project management experience, from inception to completion.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture within complex organizations, including system integration expertise.
  • Significant international and multicultural experience, particularly in working with markets outside Europe.
