About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to assist a government organisation with the rollout of their Workday Planning module. Following the successful implementation of Workday HCM and Financials, our client is embarking on the next phase of transformation and requires expert guidance to ensure the smooth delivery of Workday Adaptive Planning.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project within the public sector, leveraging your technical expertise and change management skills to drive meaningful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and government standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design robust planning solutions.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within the Workday ecosystem.
  • Manage change activities to support user adoption and training, ensuring a seamless transition to the new planning platform.
  • Work alongside internal teams and vendors to deliver project milestones on time and within scope.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning implementation and optimisation.
  • Strong background in change management, with experience driving user adoption in complex organisations.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Experience working within government or public sector environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing competing priorities.
