Introduction to the Position
My client is seeking a talented German-speaking Workday Financials Specialist to join their in-house ERP team. This well-established organization has been successfully utilizing Workday Financials for several years and is committed to continuously improving and optimizing their system. They are looking for an individual with excellent German communication skills to provide training and support to end users while also being capable of performing hands-on configuration work.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive training and support to end users in German
- Perform hands-on configuration and customization within Workday Financials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system improvements and optimization opportunities
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Financials-related issues
- Participate in system upgrades and new feature implementations
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration, particularly in financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management
- Strong understanding of financial workflows and best practices within Workday Financials
- Proven ability to train and support end users effectively in German
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving Workday Financials issues
- Experience with system upgrades, new feature implementations, and continuous improvement initiatives within Workday
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
