Our client in the Environmental Services industry is looking for a Workday Implementation Consultant to help them with their current implementation. In this role you will work closely with IT, HR, and Finance to ensure business needs are met, users of the system are trained, and the project is completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead end-to-end Workday implementation project, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, assess their business processes, and provide expert guidance on Workday best practices.
- System Configuration: Configure Workday modules (HCM) according to client specifications and ensure alignment with their organizational goals.
- Data Migration: Oversee data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data transferred into Workday.
- Training & Support: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to empower clients with effective system usage.
- Testing & Validation: Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the system meets client requirements and is functioning correctly.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, process maps, and status reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of Workday with existing systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to optimize the Workday system post-implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Workday implementation, configuration, or support, with a strong understanding of HR and financial processes.
- Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is highly desirable.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
